Conditions: 100 - No supply of alcohol may be made under the Premises Licence - (a). At a time when there is no Designated Premises Supervisor in respect of the Premises Licence; or (b). At a time when the Designated Premises Supervisor does not hold a Personal Licence or his Personal Licence is suspended.

101 - Every supply of alcohol under the Premises Licence must be made, or authorised by, a person who holds a Personal Licence.

109 - Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours. Permitted hour's means the hours shown on Part 1 of the premises licence. In addition the permitted hours shall include from the end of the permitted hours on New Year's Eve to the start of permitted hours on the following day.The above restrictions do not prohibit;i) During the first twenty minutes after the above hours the consumption of the alcohol on the premises;ii) During the first twenty minutes after the above hours, the taking of alcohol from the premises unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel;iii) During the first thirty minutes after the above hours the consumption of the alcohol on the premises by persons taking meals there if alcohol was supplied for consumption as ancillary to the meals; orThe supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to persons employed there for the purposes of the business carried on by the holder of the licence, or the consumption of alcohol so supplied, if the alcohol is supplied at the expense of their employer or the person carrying on, or in charge of, the business on the premises

135 - That in the restaurant only, intoxicating liquor shall only be sold or supplied for persons consuming table meals save for when the restaurant is being used for pre-booked functions.

152 - The designated premises supervisor (DPS) may authorise in writing a duty manager, who shall be at least 18 years old, to deputise for him. This written authorisation shall be kept on the premises and shall be readily available for examination by any authorised officer. The DPS must be satisfied that anyone appointed as a duty manager understands the need to comply with the conditions of the licence and is competent to perform the functions of duty manager

161 - The DPS shall ensure that whenever disabled people are present, adequate arrangements are made to enable their safe evacuation in the event of an emergency and that they are made aware of those arrangements

203 - The licensee shall not permit conduct on the premises that is likely to cause disorder or a breach of the peace or drug misuse. In particular the licensee shall ensure that none of the following shall take place: a. Indecent behaviour, including sexual intercourse, except as permitted by the Theatres Act 1968; b. The offer of any sexual or other indecent service for reward; c. Acts of violence against person or property and/or the attempt or threat of such acts. d.Unlawful possession and/or supply of drugs controlled by the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971

262 - That refuse (including bottles and food waste) will be stored either inside the building or in Skin Market Place between the hours of 23.00hrs and 07.00hrs to minimise noise in the local environment

288 - The CCTV system installed upon the premises shall be maintained in good working condition and operable at all times

289 - Recordings taken by the CCTV system installed upon the premises shall be kept and made available for inspection by authorised officers for a period of thirty one (31) days

303 - That any regular and external promoters hiring the premises shall complete the "Venue Hire Agreement" and, once completed that a copy of the Agreement is provided to Police and Southwark Licensing at least 14 days prior to the date of hire.

310 - That the internal door at the top of the staircase and all windows onto New Globe Walk will be closed after 21:00 hours.

311 - That notices will be displayed at all exits requesting that patrons leave the premises quietly and with respect to local residents

316 - That deliveries to and waste removal from the premises shall not be undertaken from entrances /exits facing on to Globe Walk or Bankside before 07:00 or after 23:00.

324 - Arrangements will be made for the use of a responsible dedicated taxi service

332 - Well behaved children are permitted with a responsible adult and staff are trained as to the law governing underage selling

333 - A proof of age identification shall be required by staff where a purchaser appears to be under 21

334 - That the only forms of ID acceptable will be photo identification documentation, including passport, driving licence, and any locally approved photo identity cards

340 - Health and safety policies shall be in place and suitable risk assessments undertaken

341 - All duty managers shall be trained in fire evacuation

342 - There shall be no entrance of patrons to the brasserie or bar after 23.30hrs

343 - All patrons shall exit onto Bankside after 23.00

344 - That last orders for the service of alcohol and/or food shall be at 00:30.

345 - That no music is to be played or broadcast onto the ground floor external patio area ("the Knot Garden").

346 - That drinks may only be consumed in the Knot Garden until 23:00. At no time are patrons to take drinks into the Piazza.

347 - That there shall be no Off Sales.

348 - That patrons shall not be permitted to take/consume drinks outside of the premises defined on drawings No FP 301, 401

349 - That smokers shall not be permitted to take drinks off the premises.

351 - That any portable equipment used in connection with regulated entertainment shall not be removed from premises between 23:00 and 07:00.

352 - That whenever regulated entertainment and/or the sale of alcohol takes place beyond 23.00hrs, SIA registered door supervisors will be utilised as required and in any event on Fridays and Saturdays.

354 - That the premises shall ensure that after 23.00 cars and taxis collecting patrons are encouraged to do so from the Groundlings Gate and to either drive into Bankside and reverse out or to reverse into Bankside, and not to turn their vehicles at the end of Bankside. Exit from the premises shall be solely via the Groundlings Gate. After 23.00hrs all taxi and car pick ups ordered from the premises on behalf of patrons shall be from the Groundlings Gate.

355 - That the outside area has a terminal hour of 23.00hrs.

357 - That customer wishing to smoke will be directed to a designated smoking area located on Bankside.

359 - That there shall be regular liaison meetings at least every three months with the local residents living in New Globe Walk and the houses on Bankside adjacent to the premises.

360 - That the premises will operate a Challenge 21 Policy in relation to the sale of alcohol.

361 - That all staff will be made aware of issues in relation to residents in the local vicinity to ensure that at all times the premises are operated in such a way so as to minimise nuisance to local residents

362 - There shall be regular patrols of New Globe Walk and Bankside to ensure compliance of licence conditions after 21:00hrs.

363 - A sound limiting device shall be installed, set and maintained, to control maximum levels of amplified sound inside the premises so as to ensure entertainment noise from the premises does not cause a public nuisance in the vicinity of the premises, and in particular is not audible inside any nearby noise sensitive premises.

364 - All audio and musical equipment used in the premises shall be played through the installed sound limiting device.

365 - Any additional amplification equipment imported on to the premises by third parties shall be connected to and use the installed sound limiting device.

366 - The premises shall be adequately mechanically ventilated and comfort cooled to allow doors and windows to remain closed during licensed entertainment.

485 - (1) The responsible person must ensure that staff on relevant premises do not carry out, arrange or participate in any irresponsible promotions in relation to the premises. (2) In this paragraph, an irresponsible promotion means any one or more of the following activities, or substantially similar activities, carried on for the purpose of encouraging the sale or supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises – (a) games or other activities which require or encourage, or are designed to require, encourage, individuals to - (i) drink a quantity of alcohol within a time limit (other than to drink alcohol sold or supplied on the premises before the cessation of the period in which the responsible person is authorised to sell or supply alcohol), or (ii) drink as much alcohol as possible (whether within a time limit or otherwise); (b) provision of unlimited or unspecified quantities of alcohol free or for a fixed or discounted fee to the public or to a group defined by a particular characteristic in a manner which carries a significant risk of undermining a licensing objective; (c) provision of free or discounted alcohol or any other thing as a prize to encourage or reward the purchase and consumption of alcohol over a period of 24 hours or less in a manner carries a significant risk of undermining a licensing objective; (d) selling or supplying alcohol in association with promotional poster or flyers on, or in the vicinity of, the premises which can reasonably be considered to condone, encourage or glamorise anti-social behaviour or to refer to the effects of drunkenness in any favourable manner; and (e) dispensing alcohol directly by one person into the mouth of another (other than where that other person is unable to drink without assistance by reason of disability).

487 - The responsible person must ensure that free potable water is provided on request to customers where it is reasonably available.

488 - (1) The premises licence holder or club premises certificate holder must ensure that an age verification policy is adopted in respect of the premises in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol. (2) The designated premises supervisor in relation to the premises licence must ensure that the supply of alcohol at the premises is carried on in accordance with the age verification policy. (3) The policy must require individuals who appear to the responsible person to be under 18 years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and either (a) a holographic mark; or (b) an ultraviolet feature.

489 - The responsible person shall ensure that - (a) Where any of the following alcoholic drinks is sold or supplied for consumption on the premises (other than alcoholic drinks sold or supplied having been made up in advance ready for sale or supply in a securely closed container) it is available to customers in the following measures - (i) Beer or cider: 1/2 pint; (ii) Gin, rum, vodka or whisky: 25 ml or 35 ml; and (iii) Still wine in a glass: 125 ml; (b) these measures are displayed in a menu, price list or other printed material which is available to customers on the premises; and (c) where a customer does not in relation to a sale of alcohol specify the quantity of alcohol to be sold, the customer is made aware that these measures are available,

491 - 1. A relevant person shall ensure that no alcohol is sold or supplied for consumption on or off the premises for a price which is less than the permitted price. 2. For the purpose of the condition set out in paragraph (1): (a) “duty” is to be construed in accordance with the Alcoholic Liquor Duties Act 1979; (b) "permitted price" is the price found by applying the formula P = D + (D x V), where- (i) P is the permitted price, (ii) D is the amount of duty chargeable in relation to the alcohol as if the duty were charged on the date of the sale or supply of the alcohol, and (iii) V is the rate of value added tax chargeable in relation to the alcohol as if the value added tax were charged on the date of the sale or supply of the alcohol; (c) "relevant person" means, in relation to premises in respect of which there is in force a premises licence – (i) the holder of the premises licence: (ii) the designated premises supervisor (if any) in respect of such a licence; or (iii) the personal licence holder who makes or authorises a supply of alcohol under such a licence; (iv) "relevant person" means, in relation to premises in respect of which there is in force a club premises certificate, any member or officer of the club present on the premises in a capacity which enables the member or officer to prevent the supply in question; and (v)"value added tax" means value added tax charged in accordance with the Value Added Tax Act 1994. 3. Where the permitted price given by paragraph (b) of paragraph 2 would (apart from this paragraph) not be a whole number of pennies, the price given by that sub-paragraph shall be taken to be the price actually given by that sub-paragraph rounded up to the nearest penny. 4. (1) Sub-paragraph (2) applies where the permitted price given by paragraph (b) of paragraph 2 on a day ("the first day") would be different from the permitted price on the next day ("the second day") as a result of a change to the rate of duty or value added tax; (2) the permitted price which would apply on the first day applies to sales or supplies of alcohol which take place before the expiry of the period of 14 days beginning on the second day.
