Conditions: 100 - No supply of alcohol may be made under the Premises Licence - (a). At a time when there is no Designated Premises Supervisor in respect of the Premises Licence; or (b). At a time when the Designated Premises Supervisor does not hold a Personal Licence or his Personal Licence is suspended.

101 - Every supply of alcohol under the Premises Licence must be made, or authorised by, a person who holds a Personal Licence.

102 - The admission of children to films given under this licence must be restricted in accordance with the recommendations of the British Board of Film Classification or of the licensing authority itself.

112 - This licence allows for the premises to remain open for non standard timings as stated on the days below. An additional hour to the standards and nonstandard times on the day when British Summertime commences for licensable activities.

288 - That a CCTV system be installed at the premises and be maintained in good working order and be continually recording at all times the premises are in use under the licence. The CCTV system must be capable of capturing a clear facial image of every person who enters the premises. It should cover all areas within the premises that licensable activities are available to the general public including the outside area to the front in all lighting conditions.

289 - That all CCTV footage shall be kept for a period of thirty one (31) days and shall, upon request, be made immediately available to officers of the police and the council.

340 - That the sale of alcohol beyond midnight shall be restricted to residents of the hotel and up to four bona fide guests per resident. The alcohol purchased after midnight shall be via room key only. This condition shall not apply to members of the public who have a ticket or are on a guest list for a pre-booked private function.

341 - That external promoters will not be used and any private hire event will remain within the control of the premises management.

342 - That a staff member who is able to operate the CCTV system shall be present at all times they are open to the public.

343 - That there shall be no alcohol available in the mini-bar when rooms are solely occupied by persons under the age of 18 years.

344 - That all staff involved in the sale of alcohol shall be trained in the prevention of sales of alcohol to underage persons, and the challenge 21 scheme in operation at the premises. A record of such training shall be kept I be accessible at the premises at all times and be made immediately available for inspection at the premises to council or police officers on request. The training record shall include the trainee's name (in block capitals), the trainer's name (in block capitals), the date(s) of training and a declaration that the training has been received.

345 - That a challenge 21 scheme shall be maintained at the premises requiring that staff selling alcohol request that any customer who looks under 21 years old, and who is attempting to purchase alcohol, provides valid photographic identification proving that the customer is at least 18 years old. Valid photographic identification is composed of a driving licence, passport, UK armed services 1D card and any Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS) accredited card such as the Proof of Age London (PAL) card.

346 - That clearly legible signs shall be prominently displayed where they can easily be seen and read by customers stating to the effect that a challenge 21 policy is in operation at the premises, that customers may be asked to provide proof of age and stating what the acceptable forms of proof of age are.

347 - That a register of refused sales of alcohol shall be maintained in order to demonstrate effective operation of the challenge 21 policy. The register shall be kept I be accessible at the premises at all times. On a monthly basis, the Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS) shall check the register to ensure it is being properly completed and mark the register to that effect and, where appropriate, take corrective action in a timely manner if the register is not being completed correctly. The register shall be made immediately available for inspection at the premises to council or police officers on request.

348 - That no gambling machines will be on the premises.

349 - The premises shall join the local Pubwatch or other local crime reduction scheme approved by the Police and local radio scheme if available.

350 - All staff involved in the sale of intoxicating liquor are to be trained in their responsibilities under the Licensing Act 2003 and the licensing objectives. Their training record is to be kept and shall, upon request, be made available to officers of the Council or Police for inspection within a reasonable time.

351 - An incident log shall be kept at the premises and made available on request to an authorised officer of the Council or Police which shall record the following:- i. All crimes reported to the venue ii. All ejections of patrons iii. Any incidents of disorder iv. Any faults in the CCTV system v. Any refusal of the sale of alcohol

352 - There shall be no off sales of alcohol save for patrons seated on any external areas as shown on the licence plans.

353 - Substantial food and non-intoxicating beverages, including drinking water, shall be available in all parts of the premises where alcohol is sold or supplied for consumption on the premises.

354 - The Highway and public spaces in the vicinity of the premises shall be kept free of litter from the premises at all material times to the satisfaction of the Council.

355 - All waste is to be properly presented and placed out for collection no earlier than 30 minutes before the scheduled collection time.

356 - No rubbish including bottles shall be moved, removed or placed in outside areas between midnight and 07:00hrs.

357 - No deliveries shall take place between 23:00hrs and 07:00hrs.

358 - No collections including refuse and recyclable food waste shall take place between midnight and 07:00hrs.

359 - At 23:00hrs, all entrance doors and windows are to be kept closed except for immediate access and egress.

360 - Notices shall be prominently displayed at all exits after 21:00 requesting patrons to respect the needs of local residents and businesses and leave the area quietly.

361 - After 23:00 on any day, patrons temporarily leaving the premises, such as for the purposes of smoking, shall not take any drinks with them outside the premises.

362 - Management will appoint dedicated taxi or licensed mini cab companies and staff will offer to book cars on behalf of patrons. After midnight, all patrons who seek licensed vehicles to take them away will be encouraged to remain inside whilst the vehicle is summoned.

363 - Before the licensable activities permitted by a Premises License commences, the Licensee shall produce a Noise/Nuisance Management Plan for the premises to be approved in writing by the London Borough of Southwark Environmental Health and Trading Standards Environmental Protection Team.

365 - The Noise/Nuisance Management Plan shall be reviewed annually, or whenever there is a significant change at the premises, whichever is sooner. For example, a significant change could include a new Licensee or DPS, change to premises layout, a refit, a change to the type or style of licensed entertainment, etc.

366 - The current Noise/Nuisance Management Plan, and all associated documentation, shall be held at the premises and be immediately available to officers of the Council and the Police on request.

367 - The Licensee will ensure that the premises Noise/Nuisance Management Plan is adhered to by all relevant staff.

368 - The premises will be risk assessed from time to time in accordance with relevant legislation.

369 - All staff shall be trained in emergency evacuation procedures in accordance with a fire risk assessment.

370 - The premises will be constructed and operated in accordance with Health and Safety and related legislation in order to ensure the safety of customers and staff.

371 - Before the licensable activities permitted by Premises License number (insert) commence, the Licensee shall undertake and complete any proposed structural sound containment works (e.g. glazing/lobbies, etc.).

372 - All staff working at the premises shall be trained in the content of the Noise/Nuisance Management Plan and be aware of their responsibilities and duties under it. Records of relevant training shall be kept with the Noise/Nuisance Management Plan.

373 - Vending machines placed in the corridors of the hotel (as shown upon the licensing plans) will be monitored via the premises CCTV system.

374 - All sales of alcohol made via the hotel vending machines will require presentation of a validated room key which confirms that the guest is over the age of 18.

375 - The purchase of alcohol via the hotel vending machines may only be made via credit or debit card following presentation of a validated room key.

376 - Staff will undertake regular floor walks along corridors where hotel vending machines are located and anyone attempting to purchase alcohol who appears to be under 21 will be challenged by a member of staff in line with the Challenge 21 policy implemented at the premises.

485 - (1) The responsible person must ensure that staff on relevant premises do not carry out, arrange or participate in any irresponsible promotions in relation to the premises. (2) In this paragraph, an irresponsible promotion means any one or more of the following activities, or substantially similar activities, carried on for the purpose of encouraging the sale or supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises – (a) games or other activities which require or encourage, or are designed to require, encourage, individuals to - (i) drink a quantity of alcohol within a time limit (other than to drink alcohol sold or supplied on the premises before the cessation of the period in which the responsible person is authorised to sell or supply alcohol), or (ii) drink as much alcohol as possible (whether within a time limit or otherwise); (b) provision of unlimited or unspecified quantities of alcohol free or for a fixed or discounted fee to the public or to a group defined by a particular characteristic in a manner which carries a significant risk of undermining a licensing objective; (c) provision of free or discounted alcohol or any other thing as a prize to encourage or reward the purchase and consumption of alcohol over a period of 24 hours or less in a manner carries a significant risk of undermining a licensing objective; (d) selling or supplying alcohol in association with promotional poster or flyers on, or in the vicinity of, the premises which can reasonably be considered to condone, encourage or glamorise anti-social behaviour or to refer to the effects of drunkenness in any favourable manner; and (e) dispensing alcohol directly by one person into the mouth of another (other than where that other person is unable to drink without assistance by reason of disability).

487 - The responsible person must ensure that free potable water is provided on request to customers where it is reasonably available.

488 - (1) The premises licence holder or club premises certificate holder must ensure that an age verification policy is adopted in respect of the premises in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol. (2) The designated premises supervisor in relation to the premises licence must ensure that the supply of alcohol at the premises is carried on in accordance with the age verification policy. (3) The policy must require individuals who appear to the responsible person to be under 18 years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and either (a) a holographic mark; or (b) an ultraviolet feature.

489 - The responsible person shall ensure that - (a) Where any of the following alcoholic drinks is sold or supplied for consumption on the premises (other than alcoholic drinks sold or supplied having been made up in advance ready for sale or supply in a securely closed container) it is available to customers in the following measures - (i) Beer or cider: 1/2 pint; (ii) Gin, rum, vodka or whisky: 25 ml or 35 ml; and (iii) Still wine in a glass: 125 ml; (b) these measures are displayed in a menu, price list or other printed material which is available to customers on the premises; and (c) where a customer does not in relation to a sale of alcohol specify the quantity of alcohol to be sold, the customer is made aware that these measures are available,

491 - 1. A relevant person shall ensure that no alcohol is sold or supplied for consumption on or off the premises for a price which is less than the permitted price. 2. For the purpose of the condition set out in paragraph (1): (a) “duty” is to be construed in accordance with the Alcoholic Liquor Duties Act 1979; (b) "permitted price" is the price found by applying the formula P = D + (D x V), where- (i) P is the permitted price, (ii) D is the amount of duty chargeable in relation to the alcohol as if the duty were charged on the date of the sale or supply of the alcohol, and (iii) V is the rate of value added tax chargeable in relation to the alcohol as if the value added tax were charged on the date of the sale or supply of the alcohol; (c) "relevant person" means, in relation to premises in respect of which there is in force a premises licence – (i) the holder of the premises licence: (ii) the designated premises supervisor (if any) in respect of such a licence; or (iii) the personal licence holder who makes or authorises a supply of alcohol under such a licence; (iv) "relevant person" means, in relation to premises in respect of which there is in force a club premises certificate, any member or officer of the club present on the premises in a capacity which enables the member or officer to prevent the supply in question; and (v)"value added tax" means value added tax charged in accordance with the Value Added Tax Act 1994. 3. Where the permitted price given by paragraph (b) of paragraph 2 would (apart from this paragraph) not be a whole number of pennies, the price given by that sub-paragraph shall be taken to be the price actually given by that sub-paragraph rounded up to the nearest penny. 4. (1) Sub-paragraph (2) applies where the permitted price given by paragraph (b) of paragraph 2 on a day ("the first day") would be different from the permitted price on the next day ("the second day") as a result of a change to the rate of duty or value added tax; (2) the permitted price which would apply on the first day applies to sales or supplies of alcohol which take place before the expiry of the period of 14 days beginning on the second day.

840 - That when a pre-booked event is taking place the licensable activities shall terminate at 01:00 hours.

841 - That on no more than 15 occasions per calendar year all licensable activities shall be extended until 03:00 hours for the basement, ground and first floors. A record shall be kept for inspection.
