Conditions: 100 - (1) No retail sale of alcohol may be made under the premises licence: (a) at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or (b) at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

101 - (2) Every retail sale of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

172 - That a first aid kit shall be installed on the premises and available for use at all times the public are on the premises.

263 - That the installation of an adequate arrangement of lighting is put in place for the safe access and egress of the public and staff while on the premises.

288 - That a digital CCTV system shall be installed at the premises, shall be maintained in full working order and shall be continually recording at all times that the premises are in use. The CCTV system must be capable of capturing a clear facial image of every person who enters the premises in all lighting conditions. The CCTV system shall be correctly time and date stamped at all times. The CCTV system shall cover all interior and exterior areas of the premises, including the frontage of the premises, and shall collect clearly defined / focused footage. That all CCTV footage shall be kept for a period of thirty one (31) days and shall be made immediately available to Police and responsible authority officers on request;

293 - That all relevant staff shall be trained in their responsibilities under the Licensing Act 2003, the promotion of the licensing objectives and the terms and conditions of this licence. Records pertaining to such training (‘the staff training logs’) shall be kept at the premises, shall be updated every 6 months and shall be made immediately available to responsible authority officers on request. The training logs shall include the trainee’s name (in block capitals), the trainer’s name (in block capitals), the date(s) of training and a declaration that the training has been received and understood by the trainee. If the staff training logs are a paper hardcopy then the signature of the trainee, the signature of the trainer shall be included. That all Digital records of training and/or logs shall be made immediately available to Police and responsible authority officers on request;

295 - Any suspected illegal drugs found on the premises shall be reported to the police whereby an arrangement shall be put in place for the collection of the substances.

302 - Staff will receive training on drugs in licensed premises: they shall remain vigilant to the use of illegal drugs.

316 - That any necessary deliveries for the operation of the premises are arranged at such time so as to reduce / prevent any nuisance to the local residents.

340 - The introduction of a Challenge 25 policy

341 - Staff will receive training on the subject of public relations: customers will be asked to leave the premises quietly.

342 - That an incident log book shall be introduced and maintained at all times.

343 - That staff shall assist any customer if requested at closing time in the location of public or hire transportation.

344 - That the provision of music on the premises shall be played at a level that shall not cause a nuisance to the local residents or the surrounding other businesses.

345 - That a member of staff shall be on duty at all times that the premises are in use, who is trained in the use of the CCTV system and who is able to view, and download to a removable storage device, CCTV footage at the immediate request of Police and responsible authority officers;

346 - That clearly legible signage shall be prominently displayed where it can easily be seen and read by customers advising to the effect that CCTV is in operation at the premises. The signage shall be kept free from obstructions at all times;

347 - Clearly legible signs shall be prominently displayed where they can easily be seen and read by customers at all exits from the premises, requesting that I. Requesting people leave the premises in a quiet and orderly manner so as not to disturb local residents II. Customers do not consume alcoholic drinks bought at the premises in the vicinity of the premises. Such signs shall be maintained free from obstruction when the premises are in use

348 - An incident book/incident recording system shall be kept at the premises to record details of any of the following occurrences at the premises: I. Instances of anti-social or disorderly behaviour or Violence II. Calls to the police or fire brigade III. Abuse of staff and/or customers IV. Ejections of people from the premises V. Visits to the premises by the local authority, police or fire brigade VI. Refused sales of alcohol VII. Any malfunction in respect of the CCTV system VIII. Any other relevant incidents The incident book/incident recording system shall record the time, date, location, and description of each incident as well as the printed name of the person reporting the incident and any action taken in respect of the incident. The incident book/incident recording system shall be available and accessible at the premises at all times that the premises are in use in accordance with this licence and shall be made available immediately to Police and responsible authority officers upon request. A record of the preceding 12 months' incidents shall be available at the premises at any time. That all Digital records of training and/or logs shall be made immediately available to Police and responsible authority officers on request;

349 - That if a Pubwatch scheme exists in respect of the local area, then the licensee / management will join and participate in the Pubwatch scheme. (details can be obtained from Southwark Police Licensing and Night Time Economy team);

350 - Premises must have a welfare and vulnerability policy and all staff must receive this training. All new staff must receive this training before starting their role and all staff must have refresher training every 12 months. All training must be recorded and these records must be available on immediate request by responsible authority officers. That all Digital records of training and/or logs shall be made immediately available to Police and responsible authority officers on request;

351 - That a dispersal policy to assist with patrons leaving the premises in an orderly and safe manner shall be devised and maintained regarding the premises. A copy of the dispersal policy shall be accessible at the premises at all times that the premises are in operation. The policy should include (but not necessarily be limited to) the following: I. Details as to how customer / staff egress at the premises shall be managed to minimise causing nuisance II. Details of public transport in the vicinity and how customers will be advised in respect of it III. Details of the management of taxis to and from the premises IV. Details of the management of any 'winding down' period at the premises V. Details of the use of security and stewarding in respect of managing customer dispersal from the premises VI. Details of road safety in respect of customers leaving the premises VII. Details of the management of ejections from the premises VIII. Details as to how any physical altercations at the premises are to be managed IX. Details of how refuse / waste in the local vicinity arising through the operation of the premises will be cleared up (e.g. flyer clean up, post event clean up)

352 - A minimum of one (1) SIA registered door supervisor will be employed at the premises on any day when the terminal hour is beyond midnight. The SIA Registered door supervisor shall be employed from 21:00hrs until all patrons have vacated the premises and the vicinity of the premises;

353 - That a minimum of one(1) SIA registered door supervisor shall wear body worn video cameras and all footage is to be made immediately available to police or any responsible authority officer upon request;

354 - That SIA registered door supervisors will be employed to control entry to the premises, to deal with the searching / scanning of customers, to deal with any anti-social or disorderly behaviour at the premises, to deescalate confrontations, to assist with emergency escape from the premises, to deal with the ejection of people from the premises and to assist management in liaising with the police regarding instances of crime and to assist with ensuring that the premises’ dispersal policy is adhered to. At the close of business they shall proactively encouraging patrons to vacate the premises. The door supervisors shall be easily identifiable;

355 - A zero-tolerance drugs and weapons policy shall be undertaken at the premises. I. Anybody found with / using drugs and / or weapons will be ejected from the premises and shall not be admitted to the premises again II. The details of any person found dealing drugs or using weapons will be taken (if possible) and given to the police III. Any person who is suspected of having drugs on their person will be asked to consent to a search, and should they refuse the search that person shall be ejected from the premises

356 - The sale of alcohol for consumption off the premises may be provided in the following circumstances: I. To any person seated and consuming alcohol in the seating area outside the premises II. In an open plastic drinking vessel until 2200 for consumption away from the premises III. At any time in a sealed container for consumption away from the premises

357 - There shall be no removal of glassware by patrons from the premises after 00:00hrs.

485 - Irresponsible Promotions: (1) The responsible person must ensure that staff on relevant premises do not carry out, arrange or participate in any irresponsible promotions in relation to the premises. (2) In this paragraph, an irresponsible promotion means any one or more of the following activities, or substantially similar activities, carried on for the purpose of encouraging the sale or supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises - (a) Games or other activities which require or encourage, or are designed to require or encourage, individuals to- (i) Drink a quantity of alcohol within a time limit (other than to drink alcohol sold or supplied on the premises before the cessation of the period in which the responsible person is authorised to sell or supply alcohol), or (ii) Drink as much alcohol as possible (whether within a time limit or otherwise; (b) provision of unlimited or unspecified quantities of alcohol free or for a fixed or discounted fee to the public or to a group defined by a particular characteristic in a manner which carries significant risk of undermining a licensing objective; (c) Provision of free or discounted alcohol or any other thing as a prize to encourage or reward the purchase and consumption of alcohol over a period of 24 hours or less in a manner that which carries significant risk of undermining a licensing objective; (d) Selling or supplying alcohol in association with promotional posters or flyers on, or in the vicinity of, the premises which can reasonably be considered to condone, encourage or glamorise anti-social behaviour or to refer to the effects of drunkenness in any favourable manner; (e) dispensing alcohol directly by one person into the mouth of another (other than where that other person is unable to drink without assistance by reason of a disability).

487 - Free tap water: (1) The responsible person must ensure that free potable water is provided on request to customers where it is reasonably available.

488 - Age Verification Policy: (1) The premises licence holder or club premises certificate holder must ensure that an age verification policy is adopted in respect of the premises in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol. (2) The designated premises supervisor in relation to the premises licence must ensure that the supply of alcohol at the premises is carried on in accordance with the age verification policy. (3) Subject to sub-paragraph (4), the policy must require individuals who appear to the responsible person to be under 18 years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and either - (a) a holographic mark, or (b) an ultraviolet feature. (4) The age verification policy may make provision permitting a responsible person to accept identification in digital form (“relevant ID”) instead of identification of a type described in sub-paragraph (3). (5) Where provision envisaged by sub-paragraph (4) is included in the policy, the policy must make provision dealing with the circumstance described in paragraph (6). (6) The circumstance in this sub-paragraph arises where- (a) the responsible person has reason to believe that a person (“P”) who seeks to be supplied with alcohol from a place to which the age verification policy applies has not attained the age of 18, or such greater age as the age verification policy may prescribe (“the relevant age”); and (b) P has indicated their wish to use the relevant ID. (7) When the circumstance in paragraph (6) arises, the policy must state— (a) that P is obliged, upon the request of the responsible person, to make available to the responsible person the means by which their relevant ID may be verified; but (b) that the responsible person may only accept P’s relevant ID where the condition in sub-paragraph (8) applies. (8) The condition in this sub-paragraph is that the responsible person is covered by an agreement with a DVSP (“the relevant DVSP”) for the provision of digital verification services where— (a) the relevant DVSP has agreed that it will confirm, in the course of providing its services to the responsible person, whether or not P has attained the relevant age; (b) the relevant DVSP has agreed that it will deliver identification to the responsible person that reaches at least a medium level of confidence; (c) that level of confidence has been verified by a DVSP, whether that DVSP is the relevant DVSP or another; and (d) the relevant DVSP is registered as a provider of those services in accordance with Version 0.4 or Version 1.0 of the DVS trust framework. (9) In this paragraph- (a) “DVSP” means a person who provides digital verification services, and is included in the register maintained by the Secretary of State under section 32 (DVS register) of the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 (“the 2025 Act”); (b) “DVS trust framework” is to be construed in accordance with section 28 (DVS trust framework) of the 2025 Act; (c) “medium level of confidence”, in respect of identification described in sub-paragraph (8)(b), is to be construed in accordance with— (i) Version 0.4 of the DVS trust framework, in the case that the relevant DVSP, or as the case may be, another DVSP provides the service described in sub-paragraph (8)(c), and is registered as a provider of that service, in the DVS register, in accordance with Version 0.4 of the DVS trust framework; (ii) Version 1.0 of the DVS trust framework, in the case that the relevant DVSP, or as the case may be, another DVSP provides the service described in sub-paragraph (8)(c), and is registered as a provider of that service, in the DVS register, in accordance with Version 1.0 of the DVS trust framework. (10) For the purposes of sub-paragraph (6) “supplied” is to be construed in accordance with section 14 of the Licensing Act 2003. (11) Nothing in sub-paragraphs (4) to (10) prevents the supply of alcohol to a person based upon identification of a type described in sub-paragraph (3).

489 - Availability of Certain Measures of Alcohol: (1) The responsible person must ensure that- (a) Where any of the following alcoholic drinks is sold or supplied for consumption on the premises (other than alcoholic drinks sold or supplied having been made up in advance ready for sale or supply in a securely closed container) it is available to customers in the following measures- (i) Beer or Cider: ½ pint; (ii) Gin, Rum, Vodka or Whisky: 25 ml or 35 ml; and (iii) Still wine in a glass: 125 ml; and (b) These measures are displayed in a menu, price list or other printed material which is available to customers on the premises; and (c) Where a customer does not in relation to a sale of alcohol specify the quantity of alcohol to be sold, the customer is made aware that these measures are available.

491 - Minimum Pricing (1) A relevant person shall ensure that no alcohol is sold or supplied for consumption on or off the premises for a price which is less than the permitted price as defined in the Schedule to the Licensing Act 2003 (Mandatory Conditions) Order 2014 [UK Statutory Instrument 2014 No.1252] www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2014/1252/contents/made

4BB - The venue shall support “Ask for Angela” or another similar safety initiative and posters shall be displayed on the premises. All staff shall be trained in “Ask Angela” or a similar safety initiative and a record of this training shall be kept on the premises and made available for inspection immediately to responsible authority officers upon request. That all Digital records of training and/or logs shall be made immediately available to Police and responsible authority officers on request;

840 - Conditions applied by Licensing Sub Committee on 30 May 2024

841 - That only management staff shall have access to any amplification equipment at the premises, and only management staff shall be permitted to change any control settings on said equipment;

842 - That any advertising, marketing or media relating to the premises (including websites and social media) will advise customers that there is no readily available parking in the vicinity of the premises, shall list public transport options available in the vicinity and shall advise customers to refrain from driving to the premises;

843 - That in the event of on-line sales alcohol age verification is required.
