Conditions: 100 - No supply of alcohol may be made under the Premises Licence - (a). At a time when there is no Designated Premises Supervisor in respect of the Premises Licence; or (b). At a time when the Designated Premises Supervisor does not hold a Personal Licence or his Personal Licence is suspended.

101 - Every supply of alcohol under the Premises Licence must be made, or authorised by, a person who holds a Personal Licence.

102 - The admission of children to films given under this licence must be restricted in accordance with the recommendations of the British Board of Film Classification or of the licensing authority itself.

112 - This licence allows for the premises to remain open for non standard timings as stated on the days below. The hours on public holidays/bank holidays will be the same as the Saturday hours.

168 - Notices detailing the actions to be taken in the event of a fire including how to summon the fire brigade must be displayed at call points

170 - There will be a contract in place with a licensed waste disposal contractor to remove waste regularly from the premises. Refuse collection shall take place between the hours of 08:00 and 20:00 and not on a Saturday or Sunday

172 - A first-aider (trained to at least “appointed persons” level) shall be on the premises at all times the premises are open

223 - Fire resisting doors to service shafts, ducts and cupboards shall be kept locked shut

257 - All staff must be trained in and aware of their responsibilities in the event of an emergency evacuation. In particular they must be aware of the procedures relating to the safe evacuation of customers with disabilities

263 - The level of lighting in the auditorium shall be consistent with the effective presentation of film. This will normally be in compliance with BS 5266-1:2011 (Code of Practice for the emergency escape lighting of premises).

288 - A CCTV system shall be installed and be maintained in good working order to the satisfaction of the Metropolitan Police and be continually recording at all times the premises are in use under this licence. The CCTV system must be capable of capturing a clear facial image of every person who enters the premises and all public areas to a reasonable quality in all lighting

289 - All CCTV footage shall be kept for a period of thirty one (31) days and shall, upon request, be made immediately available to Officers of the Police and Council

293 - A record of staff training, including the dates that each member of staff is trained, shall be available for inspection at the premises on request by the Council’s authorised officers or the Police

294 - All drinks to be consumed in the auditoria shall be served in card, plastic or polycarbonate. No glass shall be allowed in the auditoria at any time

336 - A Personal Licence holder shall be on the premises at all times alcohol is sold

340 - All staff involved in the sale of alcohol shall be trained in their responsibilities under the licensing act 2003 and training records to be kept and updated every 6 months through in-house training

341 - Alcoholic drinks shall not be advertised, promoted, sold or supplied in such a way that is intended or likely to encourage persons to consume alcohol to excess.

342 - No persons carrying open or sealed glass bottles shall be admitted to the premises at any time that the premises are open to the public

343 - An incident log will be maintained recording all relevant details of instances of public disorder including names (if known) of persons involved, date , time and type of incident

344 - A record of all complaints made to the cinema shall be kept and available for view by the Licensing Authority

345 - The number of people on the premises shall be limited so that there are no more than 105 in Screen 1, 86 in Screen 2, 53 in Screen 3 and 170 in the various cafe areas

346 - All fire exit doors shall be easily opened without the use of a key, card, code or similar means and will be available for egress while the public are on the premises

347 - Means of escape shall be maintained unobstructed, and clearly identifiable

348 - No one shall be permitted to sit in aisles or on stairs

349 - All internal fire doors shall be maintained effectively self-closing and shall not be held open other than by approved devices.

350 - Any removable seating fastenings shall be removed whenever the premises are open to the public or occupied by staff

351 - There shall be a minimum of two attendants on duty in the building during screenings or events and a minimum of one other member of staff who is available to assist in the event of an emergency

352 - The following persons shall not be considered available to assist in the event of an emergency: • the manager on duty at the premises. • a member of staff whose normal duties are likely to affect or delay their response to an emergency situation. • a member of staff whose usual location when on duty is more than 60 meters from the location they would be required to go to on being alerted to an emergency situation.

353 - An appropriate supply of first aid equipment shall be available on the premises

354 - No flammable films shall be allowed on the Premises without prior notification to the Licensing Authority

355 - The placing of bottles into receptacles outside the premises shall not take place between 23:00 and 08:00 in order to minimise disturbance to nearby properties

356 - The manager on duty shall ensure that the activity of persons leaving the premises is monitored and that they are reminded of their public responsibilities where necessary.

357 - All amplified music and voices must be inaudible within the adjoining residential premises

358 - The rear garden will close at 20:30 Sunday to Thursday and 21:30 on Fridays and Saturdays

359 - When films are classified by the film classification body they will be classified in the following way. a. U (Universal) suitable for audiences aged 4 years and over b. PG (Parental Guidance) some scenes may be unsuitable for young children c. 12A – viewing by persons aged 12 years or older or persons younger than 12 when accompanied by an adult d. 15 – viewing by persons aged 15 years and over e. 18 – viewing by persons aged 18 years and over

360 - Immediately before each exhibition of a film classified by the BBFC there will be a reproduction of the certificate of the Board for at least five seconds so as to be easily read by all persons in the auditorium or, as regards a trailer advertising a film, a statement approved by the Board indicating the classification of that film.

361 - The classification of each film shall be clearly shown at the box office

362 - Where films of different categories form part of the same programme, the restriction shall refer to the oldest age restriction

363 - Age restrictions to screenings apply to members of staff under the relevant age while on-duty

364 - No one shall be admitted to performances especially for children unless accompanied by a child

365 - A manager shall be identified and trained to have a basic awareness of child protection issues, knowledge of how to address any safeguarding concern and how to take appropriate immediate or emergency action, in accordance with the London Safeguarding Children Board Safeguarding Children Policy for Licensed Premises.

366 - All staff shall be trained by the identified manager about their responsibilities under the London Safeguarding Children Board Safeguarding Children Policy for Licensed Premises.

485 - (1) The responsible person must ensure that staff on relevant premises do not carry out, arrange or participate in any irresponsible promotions in relation to the premises. (2) In this paragraph, an irresponsible promotion means any one or more of the following activities, or substantially similar activities, carried on for the purpose of encouraging the sale or supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises – (a) games or other activities which require or encourage, or are designed to require, encourage, individuals to - (i) drink a quantity of alcohol within a time limit (other than to drink alcohol sold or supplied on the premises before the cessation of the period in which the responsible person is authorised to sell or supply alcohol), or (ii) drink as much alcohol as possible (whether within a time limit or otherwise); (b) provision of unlimited or unspecified quantities of alcohol free or for a fixed or discounted fee to the public or to a group defined by a particular characteristic in a manner which carries a significant risk of undermining a licensing objective; (c) provision of free or discounted alcohol or any other thing as a prize to encourage or reward the purchase and consumption of alcohol over a period of 24 hours or less in a manner carries a significant risk of undermining a licensing objective; (d) selling or supplying alcohol in association with promotional poster or flyers on, or in the vicinity of, the premises which can reasonably be considered to condone, encourage or glamorise anti-social behaviour or to refer to the effects of drunkenness in any favourable manner; and (e) dispensing alcohol directly by one person into the mouth of another (other than where that other person is unable to drink without assistance by reason of disability).

487 - The responsible person must ensure that free potable water is provided on request to customers where it is reasonably available.

488 - (1) The premises licence holder or club premises certificate holder must ensure that an age verification policy is adopted in respect of the premises in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol. (2) The designated premises supervisor in relation to the premises licence must ensure that the supply of alcohol at the premises is carried on in accordance with the age verification policy. (3) The policy must require individuals who appear to the responsible person to be under 18 years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and either (a) a holographic mark; or (b) an ultraviolet feature.

489 - The responsible person shall ensure that - (a) Where any of the following alcoholic drinks is sold or supplied for consumption on the premises (other than alcoholic drinks sold or supplied having been made up in advance ready for sale or supply in a securely closed container) it is available to customers in the following measures - (i) Beer or cider: 1/2 pint; (ii) Gin, rum, vodka or whisky: 25 ml or 35 ml; and (iii) Still wine in a glass: 125 ml; (b) these measures are displayed in a menu, price list or other printed material which is available to customers on the premises; and (c) where a customer does not in relation to a sale of alcohol specify the quantity of alcohol to be sold, the customer is made aware that these measures are available,

491 - 1. A relevant person shall ensure that no alcohol is sold or supplied for consumption on or off the premises for a price which is less than the permitted price. 2. For the purpose of the condition set out in paragraph (1): (a) “duty” is to be construed in accordance with the Alcoholic Liquor Duties Act 1979; (b) "permitted price" is the price found by applying the formula P = D + (D x V), where- (i) P is the permitted price, (ii) D is the amount of duty chargeable in relation to the alcohol as if the duty were charged on the date of the sale or supply of the alcohol, and (iii) V is the rate of value added tax chargeable in relation to the alcohol as if the value added tax were charged on the date of the sale or supply of the alcohol; (c) "relevant person" means, in relation to premises in respect of which there is in force a premises licence – (i) the holder of the premises licence: (ii) the designated premises supervisor (if any) in respect of such a licence; or (iii) the personal licence holder who makes or authorises a supply of alcohol under such a licence; (iv) "relevant person" means, in relation to premises in respect of which there is in force a club premises certificate, any member or officer of the club present on the premises in a capacity which enables the member or officer to prevent the supply in question; and (v)"value added tax" means value added tax charged in accordance with the Value Added Tax Act 1994. 3. Where the permitted price given by paragraph (b) of paragraph 2 would (apart from this paragraph) not be a whole number of pennies, the price given by that sub-paragraph shall be taken to be the price actually given by that sub-paragraph rounded up to the nearest penny. 4. (1) Sub-paragraph (2) applies where the permitted price given by paragraph (b) of paragraph 2 on a day ("the first day") would be different from the permitted price on the next day ("the second day") as a result of a change to the rate of duty or value added tax; (2) the permitted price which would apply on the first day applies to sales or supplies of alcohol which take place before the expiry of the period of 14 days beginning on the second day.

4AB - All staff involved in the sale of alcohol shall attend a recognised training scheme which will include training in the agecheck “Challenge 25” policy. They must obtain a certificate of competence.

4AC - Agecheck or “Challenge 25” signage shall be displayed at entrances to the premises, areas where alcohol is displayed for sale and at points of sale to inform customers that an agecheck “Challenge 25” policy applies and proof of age may be required.

4AG - The premises shall operate an agecheck “Challenge 25” policy whereby customers purchasing alcohol who look or appear to be under 25 years of age will be asked for an approved form of proof of age to verify their age. Approved forms shall include a driving licence, passport or a PASS approved proof of age card such as the Southwark Proof of Age (SPA) card

4AI - A register of refused sales of alcohol and, if applicable, cigarette sales which will be clearly marked with details of the premises, address and name of licence holder shall be maintained in order to demonstrate effective operation of the policy. The register shall be available for inspection at the premises on request by the Council’s authorised officers or the Police.
