Conditions: 100 - No supply of alcohol may be made under the Premises Licence - (a). At a time when there is no Designated Premises Supervisor in respect of the Premises Licence; or (b). At a time when the Designated Premises Supervisor does not hold a Personal Licence or his Personal Licence is suspended.

101 - Every supply of alcohol under the Premises Licence must be made, or authorised by, a person who holds a Personal Licence.

288 - That a CCTV system shall be installed at the premises and be maintained in full working order and be continually recording at all times the premises are in use. The CCTV system must be capable of capturing a clear facial image of every person who enters the premises.

289 - That all CCTV footage shall be kept for a period of 31 days and shall be made immediately available to officers of the police and the council on request. There will be at least one person on duty at all times who is able to operate the CCTV system and download footage upon reasonable request.

293 - That all staff shall be trained in their responsibilities under the Licensing Act 2003 and trained in respect of the terms and conditions of this licence. Records shall be kept pertaining to such training. The records will be updated every 6 months and shall be made immediately available to officers of the police and the council upon request.

305 - That clearly legible signage will be prominently displayed where it can easily be seen and read by customers warning customers of potential criminal activity. Such signage shall be maintained free from obstruction at all times that the premises are in operation.

340 - That after 18:00 hours any person under the age of 16 must be accompanied on the premises at all times by a parent, guardian or other responsible adult.

341 - Intoxicating liquor shall not be sold or supplied on the premises otherwise than to persons taking table meals and for consumption by such persons as an ancillary to their meal or while they are waiting for their meal to be served.

342 - That, any adult accompanying people who are under 16 years old will be advised by staff that the adult cannot provide alcohol to those persons who are under 16 years old at the premises. If it is observed, or suspected, that an adult is providing alcohol to people under 16 years old then the sale of alcohol to that adult will cease immediately and all the customers involved may be asked to leave the premises. Any such actions will be recorded in the refusals register at the premises.

343 - That no spirits (alcohol containing more than 20% alcohol by volume (ABV)) shall be sold by the bottle or half bottle.

344 - That any person who appears to be drunk, who is acting in an aggressive manner or who is engaging in anti-social behaviour will not be permitted on the premises.

345 - That customers will not be permitted to take glassware / bottles supplied or bought at the premises away from the premises.

346 - That whilst the premises are in operation glassware / crockery that is no longer in use shall be cleared away from the public areas of the premises as soon as possible.

347 - That clearly legible signage will be prominently displayed where it can easily be seen and read by customers requesting to the effect that customers leave the premises in a quiet and orderly manner with respect to local residents. Such signage shall be maintained free from obstruction at all times that the premises are in use.

348 - There shall be no licensable activities in the rear garden after 21:30hrs.

349 - The supply of alcohol in the rear garden shall be by waiter/waitress service to seated persons taking a table meal.

350 - There shall be no more than 10 persons in the rear garden at any one time (excluding staff).

351 - The premises licence holder shall implement a customer management policy to ensure the use of the rear garden does not cause a public nuisance.

352 - Other than off sales of alcohol to seated persons in designated external seating areas, off sales of alcohol shall be in sealed containers only.

431 - That doors at the premises shall be kept closed except for immediate access and egress to and from the premises.

485 - (1) The responsible person must ensure that staff on relevant premises do not carry out, arrange or participate in any irresponsible promotions in relation to the premises. (2) In this paragraph, an irresponsible promotion means any one or more of the following activities, or substantially similar activities, carried on for the purpose of encouraging the sale or supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises – (a) games or other activities which require or encourage, or are designed to require, encourage, individuals to - (i) drink a quantity of alcohol within a time limit (other than to drink alcohol sold or supplied on the premises before the cessation of the period in which the responsible person is authorised to sell or supply alcohol), or (ii) drink as much alcohol as possible (whether within a time limit or otherwise); (b) provision of unlimited or unspecified quantities of alcohol free or for a fixed or discounted fee to the public or to a group defined by a particular characteristic in a manner which carries a significant risk of undermining a licensing objective; (c) provision of free or discounted alcohol or any other thing as a prize to encourage or reward the purchase and consumption of alcohol over a period of 24 hours or less in a manner carries a significant risk of undermining a licensing objective; (d) selling or supplying alcohol in association with promotional poster or flyers on, or in the vicinity of, the premises which can reasonably be considered to condone, encourage or glamorise anti-social behaviour or to refer to the effects of drunkenness in any favourable manner; and (e) dispensing alcohol directly by one person into the mouth of another (other than where that other person is unable to drink without assistance by reason of disability).

487 - The responsible person must ensure that free potable water is provided on request to customers where it is reasonably available.

488 - (1) The premises licence holder or club premises certificate holder must ensure that an age verification policy is adopted in respect of the premises in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol. (2) The designated premises supervisor in relation to the premises licence must ensure that the supply of alcohol at the premises is carried on in accordance with the age verification policy. (3) The policy must require individuals who appear to the responsible person to be under 18 years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and either (a) a holographic mark; or (b) an ultraviolet feature.

489 - The responsible person shall ensure that - (a) Where any of the following alcoholic drinks is sold or supplied for consumption on the premises (other than alcoholic drinks sold or supplied having been made up in advance ready for sale or supply in a securely closed container) it is available to customers in the following measures - (i) Beer or cider: 1/2 pint; (ii) Gin, rum, vodka or whisky: 25 ml or 35 ml; and (iii) Still wine in a glass: 125 ml; (b) these measures are displayed in a menu, price list or other printed material which is available to customers on the premises; and (c) where a customer does not in relation to a sale of alcohol specify the quantity of alcohol to be sold, the customer is made aware that these measures are available,

491 - 1. A relevant person shall ensure that no alcohol is sold or supplied for consumption on or off the premises for a price which is less than the permitted price. 2. For the purpose of the condition set out in paragraph (1): (a) “duty” is to be construed in accordance with the Alcoholic Liquor Duties Act 1979; (b) "permitted price" is the price found by applying the formula P = D + (D x V), where- (i) P is the permitted price, (ii) D is the amount of duty chargeable in relation to the alcohol as if the duty were charged on the date of the sale or supply of the alcohol, and (iii) V is the rate of value added tax chargeable in relation to the alcohol as if the value added tax were charged on the date of the sale or supply of the alcohol; (c) "relevant person" means, in relation to premises in respect of which there is in force a premises licence – (i) the holder of the premises licence: (ii) the designated premises supervisor (if any) in respect of such a licence; or (iii) the personal licence holder who makes or authorises a supply of alcohol under such a licence; (iv) "relevant person" means, in relation to premises in respect of which there is in force a club premises certificate, any member or officer of the club present on the premises in a capacity which enables the member or officer to prevent the supply in question; and (v)"value added tax" means value added tax charged in accordance with the Value Added Tax Act 1994. 3. Where the permitted price given by paragraph (b) of paragraph 2 would (apart from this paragraph) not be a whole number of pennies, the price given by that sub-paragraph shall be taken to be the price actually given by that sub-paragraph rounded up to the nearest penny. 4. (1) Sub-paragraph (2) applies where the permitted price given by paragraph (b) of paragraph 2 on a day ("the first day") would be different from the permitted price on the next day ("the second day") as a result of a change to the rate of duty or value added tax; (2) the permitted price which would apply on the first day applies to sales or supplies of alcohol which take place before the expiry of the period of 14 days beginning on the second day.

4AA - That a challenge 25 scheme shall be maintained at the premises requiring that staff selling alcohol request that any customer who looks under 25 years old, and who is attempting to purchase alcohol, provides valid photographic identification proving that the customer is at least 18 years old. Valid photographic identification is composed of a driving licence, passport, UK armed services ID card and any Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS) accredited card such as the Proof of Age London (PAL) card.

4AB - That all staff involved in the sale of alcohol at the premise will be trained by a personal licence holder and/or the premise licence holder or other competent body as defined by Southwark Council. The current version of the guidance produced by Southwark Council in respect of preventing underage alcohol sales will be kept at the premises. In addition to any training received relevant staff members will also read the guidance notes and sign the training record in the guidance after they have read it. The guidance and training records will be kept at the premises and be made available on request to the council's authorised officers or the police.

4AC - That clearly legible signage will be prominently displayed where it can easily be seen and read by customers, stating that it is an offence to sell alcohol to people who are under 18 years old, that valid photographic identification may be required and that valid identification shall comprise a passport, UK driving licence, Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS) card or UK armed forces identification card. Such signage will be displayed at the pay counter and on a wall at the premises.

4AI - That a register of refused sales of alcohol, clearly marked with details of the premises and the name of the licence holder, will be kept at the premises. The register will be made available to officers of the police or council on request. If Southwark Council produces such a register, then the register produced by Southwark Council will be used. The register will shall be kept at the premises for a minimum of 2 years once full, and a new register shall be started immediately once the previous register is full.
