Conditions: 100 - No supply of alcohol may be made under the Premises Licence - a.At a time when there is no Designated Premises Supervisor in respect of the Premises Licence; or b.At a time when the Designated Premises Supervisor does not hold a Personal Licence or h is Personal Licence is suspended.

101 - Every supply of alcohol under the Premises Licence must be made, or authorised by, a person who holds a Personal Licence.

109 - Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours. In this condition permitted hours means the conditions stated elsewhere on this licwence and: A.On New Year's Eve from the end of permitted hours on New Year's Eve to the start of permitted hours on the following day (or, if there are no permitted hours on the following day, midnight on 31st December). The above restrictions do not prohibit; i)During the first twenty minutes after the above hours the consumption of the alcohol on the premises; ii)During the first twenty minutes after the above hours, the taking of the alcohol from the premises unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel; iii)During the first thirty minutes after the above hours the consumption of the alcohol on the premises by persons taking meals there if the alcohol was supplied for consumption as ancillary to the meals; iv)Consumption of the alcoh ol on the premises or the taking of sale or supply of alcohol to any person residing in the licensed premises; v)The ordering of alcohol to be consumed off the premises, or the dispatch by the vendor of the alcohol so ordered; vi)The sale of alcohol to a trader or club for the purposes of the trade or club; vii)The sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess, being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorised mess of members of Her Majesty's naval, military or air forces; viii)The taking of alcohol from the premises by a person residing there; or ix)The supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to any private friends of a person residing there who are bona fide entertained by him at his own expense, or the consumption of alcohol by the persons so supplied; or x)The supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to persons employed there for the purposes of the business carried on by the holder of the li cence, or the consumption of alcohol so supplied, if the alcohol is supplied at the expense of their employer or the person carrying on, or in charge of, the business on the premises.

110 - No statutory regulations for music and dancing shall apply so as to require any licence for the provision in the premises of public entertainment by the reproduction of wireless (including television) broadcasts or of programmes included in any programme service (within the meaning of the Broadcasting Act 1990) other than a sound or television broadcasting service, or of public entertainment by way of music and singing only which is produced solely by the reproduction of recorded sound is permitted.

111 - This licence provides for the provision of private music and dancing entertainment that is promoted for private gain;

122 - No person under fourteen shall be in the bar of the licensed premises during the permitted hours unless one of the following applies a.He is the child of the holder of the premises licence b.He resides in the premises, but is not employed there c.He is in the bar solely for the purpose of passing to or from some part of the premises which is not a bar and to and from which there is no other convenient means of access or egress d.The bar is in railway refreshment rooms or other premises constructed, f itted and intended to be used bona fide for any purpose to which the holding of the licence is ancilla. In this condition "bar" includes any place exclusively or mainly used for the consumption of intoxicating liquor. But an area is not a bar when it is u sual for it to be, and it is, set apart for the service of tablemeals and alcohol is only sold or supplied to persons as ancillary to their table meals.

127 - Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied unless it is paid for before or at the time when it is sold or supplied, except alcohol sold or supplied: a.With and for consumption at a meal supplied at the same time, consumed with the meal and paid for together w ith the meal; b.For consumption by a person residing in the premises or his guest and paid for together with his accommodation; c.To a canteen or mess.

173 - That the toilets at the premises shall be regularly inspected by staff whilst the premises is in operation to ensure that the toilets are in clean and working order and that they are being used for sanitary purposes only.

177 - a.In the absence of adequate daylight the management lighting in any area accessible to the public shall be fully in operation whilst the public are present. b.Except as permitted under d. below there shall be adequate illumination to enable people to se e their way out of the premises c.Fire safety signs shall be adequately illuminated except as permitted under d. below. d.of essential to the entertainment and subject to consent, the management lighting in the entertainment area may be reduced or exti nguished provided (i)the lighting be controlled from a position with a clear view of the entertainment area; and (ii)An operator remain by the controls whilst the lighting is reduced or extinguished; and (iii)The operator restore the management lightin g at once in the event of any emergency; and (iv)The escape route signs remain adequately illuminated.

178 - a.The emergency lighting battery shall be fully charged before the admission of the public. b.The emergency lighting battery shall be fully charged before the admission of the public c.In the event of failure of the normal lighting (i)If the emergency lighting battery has a one hour capacity the public shall leave the premises within 20 minutes unless within that time the normal lighting has been restored and the battery is being re-charged; or (ii)If the emergency lighting battery has a 3 hour capaci ty the public shall leave the premises within one hour unless within that time the normal lighting has been restored and the battery is being re-charged. d.The public shall not be re-admitted to the premises until the normal lighting has been fully resto red and the battery fully recharged except (i)Where the emergency lighting battery has a one hour capacity and if the failure of the normal lighting was fully rectified within 20 minutes of failure and the battery is being re-charged; or (ii)Where the e mergency lighting battery has a 3 hour capacity and if the failure of the normal lighting was fully rectified within one hour of failure and the battery is being re-charged.

255 - That a suitable amount and type of fire fighting equipment shall be kept at the premises. The fire fighting equipment shall be inspected periodically by a person qualified to do so in accordance with the current British Standard to ensure that the fire fighting equipment is in full working order. There shall be an interval of no more than 24 months between inspections. A record of the inspection by the inspector shall be kept at the premises and be made available to officers of the police, local authority or fire brigade on request.

256 - That all fire detection and alert equipment at the premises shall be inspected periodically by a person qualified to do so to in accordance with the current British Standard to ensure that the fire detection and alert equipment is in full working order. There shall be an interval of no more than 12 months between inspections. A record of the inspection by the inspector shall be kept at the premises and be made available to officers of the police, local authority or fire brigade on request.

288 - That a CCTV system that can record clear images of the licensable and external areas of the premises shall be installed at the premises and shall be in operation and maintained in full working order at all times. Footage recorded by the CCTV system shall be made available to officers of the police or local authority on request.

293 - That staff shall receive training in regards to conflict management and security. Records of such training shall be kept at the premises and made available to officers of the police or local authority on request.

306 - Mechanical ventilation or air conditioning to be installed and operated during the course of any music based entertainment

310 - That all doors and windows excepting any that may be required to be locked open for the purposes of means of escape, shall be kept closed whenever public entertainemnt is being provided upon the premises

311 - That clearly legible notices shall be prominently displayed to the satisfaction of the licensing authority requesting to the effect that customers leave the premises in a quiet and orderly manner.

332 - That all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

340 - No children allowed after 19:00hrs.

343 - That all outside table should be vacated and if necessary put away, by 11.00 every evening.

344 - That a further additional hour into the morning following every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday for each May Bank Holiday, Spring/Whitsun Bank Holiday, Easter Bank Holiday weekend and every August Bank Holiday weekend.

345 - Windows and balcony doors to remain closed during the performance of any music based entertainment

347 - That staff shall receive training in regards to health and safety at the premises. Records of such training shall be kept at the premises and made available to officers of the police or local authority on request.

349 - That the external areas of the premises shall be maintained in a clean, tidy and hazard free manner. Ashtrays shall be provided for customer use and shall be emptied into suitable waste receptacles regularly. The external areas of the premises shall be swept regularly whilst the premises is in operation and waste collected from the external areas shall be deposited into suitable receptacles.

350 - That the carriage of goods, stock and fixtures & fittings into and out of the premises shall take place between 07:00 and 22:00 hours only.

351 - That the depositing of waste glass of any kind, earthenware or anything of a similar nature into external bins shall not take place after 22:00 hours.

352 - That broken glass, earthenware or anything of a similar nature shall be cleared away immediately and deposited into a suitable waste receptacle.

353 - That the use of all external tables and chairs shall cease at 23:00 hours on Monday to Saturday and at 22:00 hours on Sunday.

485 - (1) The responsible person must ensure that staff on relevant premises do not carry out, arrange or participate in any irresponsible promotions in relation to the premises. (2) In this paragraph, an irresponsible promotion means any one or more of the following activities, or substantially similar activities, carried on for the purpose of encouraging the sale or supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises – (a) games or other activities which require or encourage, or are designed to require, encourage, individuals to - (i) drink a quantity of alcohol within a time limit (other than to drink alcohol sold or supplied on the premises before the cessation of the period in which the responsible person is authorised to sell or supply alcohol), or (ii) drink as much alcohol as possible (whether within a time limit or otherwise); (b) provision of unlimited or unspecified quantities of alcohol free or for a fixed or discounted fee to the public or to a group defined by a particular characteristic in a manner which carries a significant risk of undermining a licensing objective; (c) provision of free or discounted alcohol or any other thing as a prize to encourage or reward the purchase and consumption of alcohol over a period of 24 hours or less in a manner carries a significant risk of undermining a licensing objective; (d) selling or supplying alcohol in association with promotional poster or flyers on, or in the vicinity of, the premises which can reasonably be considered to condone, encourage or glamorise anti-social behaviour or to refer to the effects of drunkenness in any favourable manner; and (e) dispensing alcohol directly by one person into the mouth of another (other than where that other person is unable to drink without assistance by reason of disability).

487 - The responsible person must ensure that free potable water is provided on request to customers where it is reasonably available.

488 - (1) The premises licence holder or club premises certificate holder must ensure that an age verification policy is adopted in respect of the premises in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol. (2) The designated premises supervisor in relation to the premises licence must ensure that the supply of alcohol at the premises is carried on in accordance with the age verification policy. (3) The policy must require individuals who appear to the responsible person to be under 18 years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and either (a) a holographic mark; or (b) an ultraviolet feature.

489 - The responsible person shall ensure that - (a) Where any of the following alcoholic drinks is sold or supplied for consumption on the premises (other than alcoholic drinks sold or supplied having been made up in advance ready for sale or supply in a securely closed container) it is available to customers in the following measures - (i) Beer or cider: 1/2 pint; (ii) Gin, rum, vodka or whisky: 25 ml or 35 ml; and (iii) Still wine in a glass: 125 ml; (b) these measures are displayed in a menu, price list or other printed material which is available to customers on the premises; and (c) where a customer does not in relation to a sale of alcohol specify the quantity of alcohol to be sold, the customer is made aware that these measures are available,

491 - 1. A relevant person shall ensure that no alcohol is sold or supplied for consumption on or off the premises for a price which is less than the permitted price. 2. For the purpose of the condition set out in paragraph (1): (a) “duty” is to be construed in accordance with the Alcoholic Liquor Duties Act 1979; (b) "permitted price" is the price found by applying the formula P = D + (D x V), where- (i) P is the permitted price, (ii) D is the amount of duty chargeable in relation to the alcohol as if the duty were charged on the date of the sale or supply of the alcohol, and (iii) V is the rate of value added tax chargeable in relation to the alcohol as if the value added tax were charged on the date of the sale or supply of the alcohol; (c) "relevant person" means, in relation to premises in respect of which there is in force a premises licence – (i) the holder of the premises licence: (ii) the designated premises supervisor (if any) in respect of such a licence; or (iii) the personal licence holder who makes or authorises a supply of alcohol under such a licence; (iv) "relevant person" means, in relation to premises in respect of which there is in force a club premises certificate, any member or officer of the club present on the premises in a capacity which enables the member or officer to prevent the supply in question; and (v)"value added tax" means value added tax charged in accordance with the Value Added Tax Act 1994. 3. Where the permitted price given by paragraph (b) of paragraph 2 would (apart from this paragraph) not be a whole number of pennies, the price given by that sub-paragraph shall be taken to be the price actually given by that sub-paragraph rounded up to the nearest penny. 4. (1) Sub-paragraph (2) applies where the permitted price given by paragraph (b) of paragraph 2 on a day ("the first day") would be different from the permitted price on the next day ("the second day") as a result of a change to the rate of duty or value added tax; (2) the permitted price which would apply on the first day applies to sales or supplies of alcohol which take place before the expiry of the period of 14 days beginning on the second day.

4AA - The premises shall operate a 'Challenge 25' policy whereby customers purchasing alcohol who appear to be less than 25 years of age will be asked for an approved form of proof of age to verify their age. Approved forms of proof of age shall include a driving licence, passport or a Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS) approved proof of age card.

4AB - That staff shall receive training in regards to the prevention of the sale of alcohol to persons under 18 years old. Records of such training shall be kept at the premises and made available to officers of the police or council on request.
