Conditions: 100 - No supply of alcohol may be made under the Premises Licence - a.At a time when there is no Designated Premises Supervisor in respect of the Premises Licence; or b.At a time when the Designated Premises Supervisor does not hold a Personal Licence or h is Personal Licence is suspended.

101 - Every supply of alcohol under the Premises Licence must be made, or authorised by, a person who holds a Personal Licence.

109 - Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours as stated elsewhere on this licence and on: a.On New Year's Eve, except on a Sunday, 10.00.a.m. to 11.00.p.m. b.On New Year's Eve on a Sunday, 12 noon to 10.30.p.m. c.On New Year's Eve from the end of permitted hours on New Year's Eve to the start of permitted hours on the following day (or, if there are no permitted hours on the following day, midnight on 31st December). The above restrictions do not prohibit; i)Consumption of the a lcohol on the premises or the taking of sale or supply of alcohol to any person residing in the licensed premises; ii)The sale of alcohol to a trader or club for the purposes of the trade or club; iii)The sale or supply of alcohol to any canteen or mess , being a canteen in which the sale or supply of alcohol is carried out under the authority of the Secretary of State or an authorised mess of members of Her Majesty's naval, military or air forces; iv)The taking of alcohol from the premises by a person residing there; or v)The supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to any private friends of a person residing there who are bona fide entertained by him at his own expense, or the consumption of alcohol by the persons so supplied; or vi)The sup ply of alcohol for consumption on the premises to persons employed there for the purposes of the business carried on by the holder of the licence, or the consumption of alcohol so supplied, if the alcohol is supplied at the expense of their employer or th e person carrying on, or in charge of, the business on the premises.

110 - No statutory regulations for music and dancing shall apply so as to require any licence for the provision in the premises of public entertainment by the reproduction of wireless (including television) broadcasts or of programmes included in any programme service (within the meaning of the Broadcasting Act 1990) other than a sound or television broadcasting service, or of public entertainment by way of music and singing only which is produced solely by the reproduction of recorded sound is permitted.

111 - This licence provides for the provision of private music and dancing entertainment that is promoted for private gain;

122 - No person under fourteen shall be in the bar of the licensed premises during the permitted hours unless one of the following applies a.He is the child of the holder of the premises licence b.He resides in the premises, but is not employed there c.He is in the bar solely for the purpose of passing to or from some part of thepremises which is not a bar and to and from which there is no other convenient means of access or egress d.The bar is in railway refreshment rooms or other premises constructed, fit ted and intended to be used bona fide for any purpose to which the holding of the licence is ancilla. In this condition "bar" includes any place exclusively or mainly used for the consumption of intoxicating liquor. But an area is not a bar when it is usu al for it to be, and it is, set apart for the service of tablemeals and alcohol is only sold or supplied to persons as ancillary to their table meals.

127 - Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied unless it is paid for before or at the time when it is sold or supplied, except alcohol sold or supplied: a.With and for consumption at a meal supplied at the same time, consumed with the meal and paid for together w ith the meal; b.For consumption by a person residing in the premises or his guest and paid for together with his accommodation; c.To a canteen or mess.

311 - That the premsies shall be monitored by Borough Market’s CCTV system.

326 - That all staff involved in the sale of alcohol shall be fully trained & be conversant in licensing law and the prevention of underage sales of alcohol.

327 - That signs shall be displayed informing customers and staff that sales of alcohol will not be made to under 18s and that age identification will be required

332 - That children must be accompanied at the premises by a responsible adult at all times. Unaccompanied children will not be served at the premises.

340 - That alcohol will not be sold to anyone who is drunk or appears to be drunk

341 - That all staff are trained in respect of the four licensing objectives, crime prevention and the prevention / management of disorder / anti-social behaviour.

342 - That an incident log will be maintained at the premises and will be used to record all incidents at the premises including: 1. Any instances of crime and disorder 2. Any refused sales of alcohol 3. Any instances of customers being asked to leave / being removed from the premsies 4. Any visits to / inspections of the premises by council, police or fire officers 5. Any outbreaks of fire 6. Any other notable incidents 7. Any action taken in respect of the above The incident log shall be made available to officers of the council, police of fire service on request.

343 - That the property and all stock shall be kept shut, locked and secured when the property is not in use.

344 - That an intruder alarm system be installed at the premises and maintained in full working order at all times.

345 - That wine will only be sold by the open bottle or glass for consumption in the premises. Ready to drink wine will not be offered for off sales

346 - That aside from off sales, all sales of alcohol will be made by way of table service. Customers will be encouraged to remain seated whilst at the premises.

347 - That clearly legible signage will be prominently displayed in the premises is where it can easily be seen and read by customers requesting to the effect that customers leave the premises in a quiet and orderly manner.

348 - That the contact details of a reputable local taxi service will be kept at the premises and offered to customers on request.

349 - That all staff at the premises will be trained in the health and safety, fire safety and emergency evacuation policies and procedures in place at the premises.

350 - That all electrical equipment shall receive PAT testing and records of such testing, or any other equipment testing, shall be maintained.

351 - That all staff are fully trained in the use of the equipment at the premises.

352 - That all managers and supervisors at the premises shall be trained first aiders and at least one manager or supervisor shall be on duty whilst the premises are in operation.

353 - That no more than 60 customers shall be permitted at the premises at any one time.

354 - That all waste shall be deposited into coverable waste receptacles suitable for storage of the waste being deposited into them.

355 - That staff will clear all tables and the floor area of waste / litter etc. regularly and shall ensure that all tables and the floor area are kept in a clean and sanitary condition.

356 - That the premises shall be maintained so that it does not impede disabled or normal pedestrian access / egress in the surrounding area.

357 - That the premises shall be maintained accessible to disabled persons.

358 - That no food shall be fried or grilled at the premises.

359 - That a suitable ventilation system shall be installed and maintained in the food cooking areas sufficient to ensure that no nuisance is caused by fumes, smoke or similar arising from the cooking of food at the premises.

360 - That all waste glass and earthenware shall be depositied into suitable waste receptacles and that the depositing of such waste shall be done at a time when it is likely to cause the least disturbance to local residents.

485 - (1) The responsible person must ensure that staff on relevant premises do not carry out, arrange or participate in any irresponsible promotions in relation to the premises. (2) In this paragraph, an irresponsible promotion means any one or more of the following activities, or substantially similar activities, carried on for the purpose of encouraging the sale or supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises – (a) games or other activities which require or encourage, or are designed to require, encourage, individuals to - (i) drink a quantity of alcohol within a time limit (other than to drink alcohol sold or supplied on the premises before the cessation of the period in which the responsible person is authorised to sell or supply alcohol), or (ii) drink as much alcohol as possible (whether within a time limit or otherwise); (b) provision of unlimited or unspecified quantities of alcohol free or for a fixed or discounted fee to the public or to a group defined by a particular characteristic in a manner which carries a significant risk of undermining a licensing objective; (c) provision of free or discounted alcohol or any other thing as a prize to encourage or reward the purchase and consumption of alcohol over a period of 24 hours or less in a manner carries a significant risk of undermining a licensing objective; (d) selling or supplying alcohol in association with promotional poster or flyers on, or in the vicinity of, the premises which can reasonably be considered to condone, encourage or glamorise anti-social behaviour or to refer to the effects of drunkenness in any favourable manner; and (e) dispensing alcohol directly by one person into the mouth of another (other than where that other person is unable to drink without assistance by reason of disability).

487 - The responsible person must ensure that free potable water is provided on request to customers where it is reasonably available.

488 - (1) The premises licence holder or club premises certificate holder must ensure that an age verification policy is adopted in respect of the premises in relation to the sale or supply of alcohol. (2) The designated premises supervisor in relation to the premises licence must ensure that the supply of alcohol at the premises is carried on in accordance with the age verification policy. (3) The policy must require individuals who appear to the responsible person to be under 18 years of age (or such older age as may be specified in the policy) to produce on request, before being served alcohol, identification bearing their photograph, date of birth and either (a) a holographic mark; or (b) an ultraviolet feature.

489 - The responsible person shall ensure that - (a) Where any of the following alcoholic drinks is sold or supplied for consumption on the premises (other than alcoholic drinks sold or supplied having been made up in advance ready for sale or supply in a securely closed container) it is available to customers in the following measures - (i) Beer or cider: 1/2 pint; (ii) Gin, rum, vodka or whisky: 25 ml or 35 ml; and (iii) Still wine in a glass: 125 ml; (b) these measures are displayed in a menu, price list or other printed material which is available to customers on the premises; and (c) where a customer does not in relation to a sale of alcohol specify the quantity of alcohol to be sold, the customer is made aware that these measures are available,

491 - 1. A relevant person shall ensure that no alcohol is sold or supplied for consumption on or off the premises for a price which is less than the permitted price. 2. For the purpose of the condition set out in paragraph (1): (a) “duty” is to be construed in accordance with the Alcoholic Liquor Duties Act 1979; (b) "permitted price" is the price found by applying the formula P = D + (D x V), where- (i) P is the permitted price, (ii) D is the amount of duty chargeable in relation to the alcohol as if the duty were charged on the date of the sale or supply of the alcohol, and (iii) V is the rate of value added tax chargeable in relation to the alcohol as if the value added tax were charged on the date of the sale or supply of the alcohol; (c) "relevant person" means, in relation to premises in respect of which there is in force a premises licence – (i) the holder of the premises licence: (ii) the designated premises supervisor (if any) in respect of such a licence; or (iii) the personal licence holder who makes or authorises a supply of alcohol under such a licence; (iv) "relevant person" means, in relation to premises in respect of which there is in force a club premises certificate, any member or officer of the club present on the premises in a capacity which enables the member or officer to prevent the supply in question; and (v)"value added tax" means value added tax charged in accordance with the Value Added Tax Act 1994. 3. Where the permitted price given by paragraph (b) of paragraph 2 would (apart from this paragraph) not be a whole number of pennies, the price given by that sub-paragraph shall be taken to be the price actually given by that sub-paragraph rounded up to the nearest penny. 4. (1) Sub-paragraph (2) applies where the permitted price given by paragraph (b) of paragraph 2 on a day ("the first day") would be different from the permitted price on the next day ("the second day") as a result of a change to the rate of duty or value added tax; (2) the permitted price which would apply on the first day applies to sales or supplies of alcohol which take place before the expiry of the period of 14 days beginning on the second day.

4AC - That children must be accompanied at the premises by a responsible adult at all times. Unaccompanied children will not be served at the premises.

4AG - That the premises shall operate a 'Challenge 25' policy whereby customers purchasing alcohol who appear to be under 25 years of age will be asked for an approved form of proof of age to verify their age. Approved forms of proof of age shall comprise a driving licence, passport, UK armed forces identification card or a Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS) approved proof of age card.
