Conditions: 102 - The admission of children to films given under this licence must be restricted in accordance with the recommendations of the British Board of Film Classification or of the licensing authority itself.

340 - That any event at the premises shall be undertaken in full accordance with the council's Outdoor Events Policy and also the site specific guidelines and conditions relating to events at the premises provided on application for this licence. Any condition of this licence as listed below shall take precedence over any condition or guideline provided in the Outdoor Events Policy and / or the site specific guidelines and conditions relating to events at the premises provided on application for this licence. A copy of the site specific guidelines and conditions relating to events at the premises provided on application for this licence shall be retained by the Events Team and a copy shall be available at each event held at the premises.

341 - There will be a maximum of 10 events at the premises. The size of the events shall be 'small' as defined by the Southwark Outdoor Events Policy.

342 - The maximum length of any one event with amplified entertainment noise will be 7 hrs.

343 - That Southwark Community Wardens and Southwark Police shall be informed of all events taking place at the premises.

344 - That security and stewarding requirements for each event will be assessed, and the event organiser will employ security or stewards as necessary.

345 - That all matters pertaining to health & safety and the prevention of crime and disorder at events at the premises are overseen and scrutinised by the Safety Advisory Group in the planning stages of each event and by the Event Liaison Team on each day of each event.

346 - That all event organisers are required to show evidence of Public Liability Insurance cover to the minimum value of £5,000 000 (five million pounds).

347 - That events will generally be accessible to all members of the public including children.

348 - That if an event with an age limitation, e.g. showing a rated film or selling alcohol under an additional authorisation were to take place, appropriate signage, advanced notice of the event and controlled entry will be considered and / or proof of age may be requested of persons attending the event.

349 - That when events have a specific focus on music or amplified sound content, the licensee shall prior to the event appoint a suitable qualified and experienced noise control consultant to liaise with all parties; undertake a survey to determine background noise levels; identify sensitive premises and positions for monitoring; undertake noise propagation tests to establish sound limits at the mixer deck position; and during the event ensure that the sound system is operated in accordance with maximum reference sound levels. The requirement or otherwise for a noise control consultant to be employed shall be determined through consultation with the Environmental Protection Team.

350 - That the music noise level should not exceed the background noise level by more than 15 dB [A] over a 15 minute period. [Background measured as LA90].

351 - That plans and procedures outlining measures to prevent crushing, to control access to stages, to minimise the risk of fire, to allow for communication and assistance to and with the emergency services, to provide visitor information, in regards of evacuation procedures, detailing the provision of first aid and detailing how personnel shall communicate shall be included in any Event Plan in regards to all events at the premises.
