Conditions:

102 - 2 The admission of children to films given under this licence must be restricted in accordance with the recommendations of the British Board of Film Classification or of the licensing authority itself.

340 - That prior to each event comprehensive written site specific method statements and risk assessments shall be devised which shall take into account all health and safety, stewarding and security issues. The organisers of each event and management personnel in regards to each event shall be conversant with the method statements and risk assessments devised in regards to each event. Copies of the method statements and risk assessments shall be available at the premises during the set up, duration and breakdown of each event. Copies of the method statements and risk assessments shall be made available to officers of the council, police or fire brigade on request.

341 - That prior to each event approval for the use of the premises shall be attained from the building insurers of the premises.

342 - That, if required, local emergency services will be contacted prior to an event.

343 - That each event shall be subject to sufficient public liability insurance.

344 - That during Large Events (allowing for all permitted licensable activities with no more than 6 performers on stage at any one time with or without DJ, and occurring up to 30 times per annum only) the following shall apply: • That no less than 7 days prior to a large scale event consultation will be held with Environmental Protection Team to agree the specific noise management plan for the event. • That such events be restricted to no more than 3 hours continuous amplified performance by a single or cumulative session of performers in any period of morning, afternoon, evening (or no more than 5 hours in any two consecutive periods. Each period (morning, afternoon and evening) shall have a maximum duration of 3 hours. • That amplified music / sound only to set up and powered from either of the two following locations: - in front of Shortwave cinema (powered by the cinema) - at the south end of the square with the houses at the back (powered by the landlord electricity supply) The Bermondsey Square management team shall be in sole and full control of the amplification and power supply to the event at all times. • That a member of management team will periodically patrol the perimeter of the square during performances, to monitor the level of music / sound and where necessary reduce the level of music / sound. • That a contact name and telephone number be displayed in a prominent location on site during the performance of regulated entertainment, through which members of the public can make enquiry / lodge complaints, and that any such complaints be logged and responded to at the time.

345 - That during Medium Scale Events (allowing for all permitted licensable activities with minimal / small scale amplification including the use of microphones and occurring up to 20 times per annum only) the following shall apply: • That each event shall be limited to maximum of 3 hours duration and that only one such event per day shall be permitted.

346 - That during Small Events (including performances of plays, performances of dance and performances of a choral nature, where only unamplified musical instruments may be used and the use of microphones is not permitted occurring up to 30 times per annum only) the following shall apply: • That each event shall have a maximum duration of 30 minutes and that the cumulative duration of small events on any one day shall not exceed 3 hours.
